Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our authentic Icelandic knitwear and heritage fashion.
What makes Icelandic wool unique compared to other wool types?
Our garments are crafted from Lopi, a unique Icelandic wool that features two different fibers: a soft, insulating inner layer and a long, water-repellent outer layer. This results in a garment that is exceptionally warm, breathable, and naturally weather-resistant.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship our authentic Icelandic products worldwide. Shipping rates and delivery times vary by destination, but most international orders arrive within 7 to 14 business days via our tracked courier partners.
How do I care for my Icelandic wool sweater?
Icelandic wool is naturally antibacterial and odor-resistant, so it rarely needs washing. We recommend airing it out first. If washing is necessary, hand wash in lukewarm water with mild wool detergent, do not rub or wring, and lay flat to dry on a towel.
What is your return policy for fashion items?
We want you to love your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you can return unworn items with original tags attached within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective.
How do I find the correct size for me?
Each product page includes a detailed size guide with specific measurements. As Icelandic sweaters often have a traditional, slightly oversized fit, we recommend comparing the measurements to a sweater you already own to ensure the perfect fit.
Are your products ethically sourced?
Absolutely. We pride ourselves on supporting local Icelandic artisans and sustainable farming practices. Our wool is a byproduct of the Icelandic sheep industry, and many of our 'Hand-Knitted' items are produced by local knitters across the country.
